Trauma Therapy Online in Springfield, MO and in 42 U.S. States

Everything is different now…
– You feel overwhelmed and exhausted.
– It is difficult to escape the pain of what happened.
– You feel out of control.
– Your thoughts and emotions spiral you to dark places.
– You feel hopeless that anything can help you.

There’s a path to recovery and change.

Trauma recovery isn’t about forgetting what happened.
That won’t work.  The truth is that what happened changed your life and it is too important to somehow make disappear…but it doesn’t have to control you. You are likely tired of pretending, you can’t seem to focus, and what happened keeps replaying over and over. You are irritable all the time and you’re tired because your sleep is poor. And your world keeps getting smaller and you’re constantly on edge. You feel stuck in this suffering.

Our work together will result in deep change lasting change. We will examine together not only what happened but ways to move forward again and start feeling better now. We will look at the ways it continues to shape and influence your life, and discover how it is impacting the way you think of yourself and other people. It is also about taking back what was lost and finding ways together to reclaim a sense of wellbeing. In a safe and structured way together we’ll allow for the healing process to take place.

Trauma isn’t something to just get over.
Therapy is the process of getting unstuck, finding that next step, and then the next.  We will help you begin to breathe deeply again, to discover more room to think and respond before just reacting.
You can find peace and contentment again, confidence, and a clear understanding.

Does trauma therapy take years? No. The vast majority of my clients experience significant improvements in their symptoms after 9-15 sessions. Each client is unique and we will work together to identify your treatment goals and what you want to see change in the assessment.

Do you offer trauma intensives? Talk with us if you’d like to complete treatment sooner. We offer accelerated therapy that can be completed in as little as 1-2 weeks with daily appointments. This high level of care provides a specialized trauma approach that is effective, provides more frequent contact and support, and allows you to complete treatment sooner without interruptions. Trauma intensives are especially helpful for clients who need to feel better now, or who have tried treatment in the past and either found it unhelpful or dropped out early.
